There have been questions about the stock of Microsoft Surface 2 tablet. Fortunately, the company has recently replenished the stock of Surface 2 tablet; both the 64GB and 128GB versions. These models are now shown up as “in stock” in various retailers. However, the 512GB version of the tablet is still “out of stock”. At the moment, there’s no listing of Surface power cover in the MicrosoftStore.com, but it is shown as due in early this year on the Microsoft.com. The cover will be available for $199.99. It should be noted that Microsoft wrote down about a large quantity of Surface RT tablet, valued almost $1 billion.
Understandably, the company is being cautious and don’t want to have too many Surface models in the market. During the last earning call, the company revealed that it has delivered only $400 million worth of the tablets to users. It will be interesting what the company has to say about the inventory problems during the next earning call and we could be hopeful that Surface 2 tablets are always available in the UK.
