Polaroid has recently unveiled that it will showcase new Q-series tablet models at the CES event later this month. Named the Q7, Q8 and Q10; we could quickly assume that they will have 7-, 8-, and 10-inch displays, respectively. All of them tout powerful quad-core processor and support WiFi connectivity. These models also run the newest KitKat Android 4.4 out of the box.
The company said that the affordable price point and sleek design will make there models a great choice. As shown by the hardware specs; these models are also perfect for sharing on the go and running multimedia content. Polaroid promised extended battery life, Bluetooth, HDMI and improved audio quality from the front-mounted speakers.
Other details, disclosed include 8GB/16GB of onboard storage and 1GB of RAM. Because they are Android-based tablets; we could expect to get a direct access to the Google Play. These Q-series models will be priced quite aggressively at $129 for Q7, $149 for Q8 and $179 for Q10. Because devices are typically priced higher in the United Kingdom; these Q-series tablets could be positioned above those cheap tablet models released by Tesco and Asda.
