The China-based company, Lenovo, has announced that it will purchase Motorola Mobility and this will improve its brand recognition in the market. The Bluetooth SIG has certified Lenovo two new tablet models, Lenovo A3300 and A3500. This should be how we know that these slates are ready for global launch, including in the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately, official images of both tablets are not too detailed and quite small. However, we know that the Lenovo A3300 will be equipped with 7-inch (1024 x 600) display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, VGA front-facing snapper and 2Mp rear-facing camera. The A3500 has roughly similar physical dimension; but with better hardware configuration; 7-inch (1280 x 800) IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 2Mp front-facing camera, 5Mp rear-facing camera and 3G data connectivity.
These are not the only tablets we hear; Lenovo may also plan to release the A5500 and A7600, which sport larger 8-inch display. The four A-series models would be included in the popular IdeaTab family; which is noted for its budget tablet models. There’s no word on possible price range and release date of these tablet models. But obviously, with the listed hardware specs; both the A3300 and A3500 won’t cost too much.
